ENRX is growing and looking for a Product Compliance Manager!

 

ENRX Skien is seeking an experienced Product Compliance Manager to enhance our Engineering department. As a Product Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products are designed and tested in accordance with both regulatory and company standards. This position requires a solid understanding of global regulatory frameworks, technical expertise, and the ability to lead initiatives that maintain and develop our compliance program.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who is passionate about establishing ENRX as a reliable and trusted partner for our customers. You will collaborate with a team of skilled colleagues and work closely with our sister companies across Asia, America, and Europe. Located at our Skien facility, you will have direct access to the entire value chain, from development to production.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed on and apply relevant international regulations, standards, and certifications pertinent to ENRX products.
  • Provide technical and safety guidance, serving as a resource to translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with EU directives for CE Declarations of Conformity.
  • Collaborate with our US teams to manage product compliance with UL and CSA standards.
  • Create and maintain Technical Files, product checklists, and methodologies to support CE and UL compliance.
  • Participate in and support New Product Development Projects with a focus on product compliance.
  • Train, support, and collaborate with a team of Product Engineers to ensure adherence to relevant standards and directives.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, and CE marking requirements for electrical products.
  • Familiarity with standards such as EN61000, EN55011, EN60204.
  • Knowledge of UL standards like UL508 and UL61800-5-1 is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical and regulatory challenges, consult with stakeholders, and propose practical solutions.
  • Interest in sustainability through efficient product design, coupled with strong communication skills for engaging with both colleagues and customers.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English.
